Vexve has completed the acquisition of Frese A/S

Vexve has completed the acquisition of the leading Danish valve manufacturer Frese A/S. By joining forces with Frese, Vexve strengthens its position as the leading European provider of mission-critical valve solutions in the transition to a low-carbon future.

Vexve announced its intention to acquire Denmark-based Frese A/S, a leading manufacturer of dynamic balancing valves for hydronic networks, in early December 2024.

Frese’s highly complementary valve offering in hydronic systems, great production capacity and strong foothold in the Central European market strengthens Vexve’s leading position as a mission-critical valve solutions provider for energy infrastructure in the transition to a low-carbon future.

Vexve has now finalized the formal FDI filing process in Denmark and the Frese transaction was completed on January 31, 2025. Following the acquisition, the company will have a combined turnover of approximately 200 million EUR.

Paul Gustavsson continues as the CEO of Vexve Group and René Barington as the Managing Director of Frese.
