His main focus will be on carrying out the ambitious Frese strategy which includes increasing the company's brand awareness and growing the business in key emerging markets around the world.
Since 2007 Nathan Cooke has been with Frese and he comes from a position as General Manager at the company's Middle East Sales Office in Dubai.
He is keen to focus on implementing the new Frese sales and marketing strategy and sees great opportunities for positioning Frese in the market alongside large global competitors with established brand names.
- We have a unique technology, though. Frese was the first European company to introduce dynamic balancing valves and we are widely known for our knowledge and in-depth experience in this field, says Nathan Cooke.
He sees possibilities to offer more complementary products alongside Frese's existing portfolio and thereby increasing the company's value proposition to the customers. Frese wants to offer solutions and not only products.
It is part of Frese's strategy to focus on growing the business in key emerging markets. The company's annual growth plans of 20 percent in the coming five years rely heavily on the results in these emerging markets.
And Nathan Cooke is optimistic about the future: - I am inheriting a very successful sales team from my predecessor Stephen Hart, who continues in Frese as Managing Director at the UK sales subsidiary. I have been part of this team for 4-1/2 years and I do not expect to make many changes, although I will focus on creating a more strategic approach towards our day-to-day activities in the business and on the structure of our sales process, says Nathan Cooke.
In the coming years customers should expect a customer service which is much more direct. Nathan Cooke emphasises that customers should have the same impression when dealing with Frese, no matter where in the world they meet the company.
- We will listen even more to the voice of the customer, as we constantly need to improve our efforts to live up to our customers' expectations - and to be able to beat the competition, says Nathan Cooke.
Next year Nathan will move from Dubai to Denmark with his wife and two daughters. He will be stationed at the company's head office in Slagelse.
