Achieving the thermal balance

EUROPEAN valve manufacturer, Frese, have launched their range of Thermostatic Balancing valves into the UK market.

The CirCon+ and TemCon+ range of control valves are designed specifically for domestic hot water installations in which bacterial issues are a major concern.

To ensure thermal balance throughout the DHW system, the CirCon+ and TemCon+ are installed on each return leg in the system, automatically controlling the temperature of the water that circulates through the valves in a pre-set range of 37 deg C to 65 deg C.

The TemCon+ is perfectly suited for systems that are susceptible to bacterial problems such as legionella. A bypass is situated outside the thermal element of the valve which allows a periodic pasteurisation of the system by increasing the temperature of the water to between 70 deg C and 80 deg C. This bypass can be controlled manually or automatically by means of an actuator linked to the BMS.

Manufactured in an anticorrosive tin nickel plated DZR material and available in sizes 15mm and 22mm, threaded or compression ended, the CirCon+ and TemCon+ range have a proven track record of over 20 years of installation in DHW applications around the world.
