New order for valves to a gigantic Cruise liner

Via our distributor in Finland, we were the chosen supplier of automatic balancing valves for Koja Marine, whose offer ao includes basic HVAC design for marine air conditioning systems.

It is the Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line, Miami who ordered a new generation of cruise vessels from Finnish Aker Finnyards, Turku/Åbo in Finland, where Koja Marine is the sub supplier.

GENESIS is the first vessel in new generation cruise vessels from Aker Finnyards, and it is the most expensive and largest cruise ship ever ordered in the history of commercial shipbuilding.

The vessel is state of the art, top modern and will be equipped with the latest technology and innovative systems also in the field of HVAC and HVAC automation, here of course our Alpha valve will be an important ingredient. We will help ensuring comfortable temperatures in the ship and cabins for the passengers, when they get enough of the burning sun, high temperatures and umbrella-drinks on the deck.

The contract with Caribbean International includes an option for yet a similar vessel, which means another 3,000 valves.
