The joint venture opens new market opportunities for Frese, as ISIK has a strong position in Turkey and increasingly in Russia. Frese has been active in Turkey for 10 years.
- Our new sales office will be Frese's spearhead into Asia and the countries around the Black Sea. We expect to grow our business 40 % annually in this region. We see great potential in the markets in Southern Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia, said Stephen Hart, Sales Director Frese A/S.
Frese especially expects the sales of valves in Russia to increase. In recent years, ISIK has successfully supplied Frese dynamic valves into some of the biggest building projects in Moscow and has a strong platform in the Russian market.
In the new organisation additional sales and marketing staff have been hired. The General Manager is Ogun Uluc, who is co-owner of ISIK, and he will manage the daily operations. The staff in Istanbul numbers four at present and this number is expected to be doubled next year.
