The Tower, a pencil-slim 54-storey residential building is soaring to a height of 243m on the prestigious Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, UAE. The $41 million (2001) building provides a total built-up area of 46,450m2.
Unproblematic design of the cooling system
Easy commissioning in 2 phases (commissioning of the last 22 floors while tenants have already moved in the first 32)
High degree of comfort for the tenants when the outside temperature reaches 45°C.
Frese Automatic Balancing Valves were placed on each of the 1240 fan coils to ensure the hydraulic balance of the 16 km water piping and the perfect distribution of the chilled water everywhere in the building.
The commissioning of the first 32 floors was done, as planned, within 3 days period after which everything was approved by the consultant and the apartments were ready for tenants.
