Vexve has signed an agreement to acquire BROEN ApS (“BROEN”), a Denmark-based valve manufacturer, from Aalberts N.V., which has owned the company since 1993. BROEN offers valve technologies under BROEN and Clorius Control brands for District Energy, Gas, Marine and Building Installations end markets. Founded in 1948, the company employs around 500 people and is headquartered in Assens, Denmark, with production facilities in Denmark, Poland, and the United States.
The combination will strengthen Vexve’s position in its core segments by adding BROEN’s complementary product portfolio, strong brand, and deep technical expertise. With a total workforce of over 1400 employees, the group will benefit from broader geographic reach, increased production capacity, and enhanced capabilities in product innovation. Together, Vexve and BROEN will be well-positioned to meet the growing demand for reliable, energy-efficient valve solutions driven by the global energy transition to a higher utilisation of renewable energy sources.

The transaction is expected to close during the first half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
