COVID-19 Update

Like many places in Europe, Danish society at large is now severely affected by measures to prevent the spreading of the Covid-19 virus.

At Frese we are doing everything possible to keep our business operations functioning as close to normal as possible, while at the same time taking all the necessary precautions to protect our employees from the virus and adhering to all recommendations and regulations laid out by the public health authorities.

Both the valve production and the foundry in Denmark continue to operate with full capacity, but we are taking measures internally to reduce the risk imposed by the virus.

Some of these measures may affect our customers.

First, many of our employees will be working from home. Only staff in functions that are critical to maintaining production output will be present at the facilities.

In addition, we will not be having visitors to our facilities in Denmark from now on and until the end of the month. Instead we urge all customers, suppliers, and Frese employees that do not work out of our Slagelse facility to conduct their business using phone, Skype, Teams, and other IT communication tools. If the task absolutely requires physical presence at the Slagelse facility, the activity should be delayed until April.

Likewise, we limit our outbound activity and Danish based Frese personnel will not be participating in live meetings outside of the Slagelse facilities for the rest of the month. Instead we will try to support business enabling activities with you using electronic communication wherever possible.

We do, however, emphasize that Frese remains open for business. Our phones are open, and we are ready to support our customers. Our factories in both Denmark and China are operational and products will be shipped according to plan. If you have a need for specific information, please do not hesitate to ask.

Best regards,
